Marius van Dam The grandson of the founder of Van Dam & Kruidenier Advocaten learned about shipping at his mother's knee. When he was a little boy he raced competitively on big yachts (taking part in many famous races), today he is a keen catamaran sailor.

His grandfather, W.A.C. van Dam, put the name Van Dam on the map of inland water ways. As a lawyer Marius has been doing credit to his name since 1981. Like his grandfather and his father, J.C.W. van Dam, before him he is an active board member of Koninklijke Schuttevaer, professional association for inland shipping.

Specialising in transport law and inland shipping law, Marius assists his clients in virtually all legal areas.
