Van Dam & Kruidenier is a firm that reflects the roll-up-your-sleeves and get-down-to-work attitude Rotterdam is known for. When the firm's office was destroyed in the 1940 bombing, the lawyers undauntedly continued to practice on board of the traditional sailing ship 'De Vrijheid' (meaning 'freedom') in the Zalmhaven. And this has not changed - we keep a level head, and persevere where others give up.

Of course we do so in close consultation with our clients. We like to see ourselves as our clients' in-house counsel and put a lot of effort and time in familiarizing ourselves with their business.
